In 2001, he collaborated with The Supermen Lovers, co-writing and featuring as lead vocals on the platinum hit, "Starlight", which became one of the most exported French tracks around the world, making Mani an important figure of French Touch movement along with Daft Punk, Cassius, Modjo and others. Over the next years, Mani worked with French and English house/electro artists, such as DJ Cole, DJ Fudge, Trouble Men, Frank Roger, School, Junior Jack, and JC Sindress and Bel Amour. During this time, Mani signed with multiple labels, such as BMG, Sony, and Warner Music.

In 2006, Hoffman released another gold hit, "Lucy", with the band, Jealousy, which was in the UK Top 20. While there, he collaborated with Toby Smith, founder of Jamiroquai, and was signed by his label, Angelic Union.

In January 2012, the group Mani released their debut album, Heroes of Today, with the first single, "Bang Bang", produced by My Major Company. "Bang Bang" was a global radio hit, and was in the Top 10 airplay and video play charts in France, Belgium, and Switzerland, and #2 airplay single in Japan in 2013. It was also featured in the Samsung Galaxy commercial there. Also in 2012, Mani composed and performed the track, “Une chose à la fois”, with Petula Clark, the classic English singer who has sold more than 68 million records over her career.

Mani Hoffman is regularly involved with synchronization and scoring. In 2009, he wrote and sang on the original soundtrack for the film, R.T.T., starring Kad Merad and Mélanie Doutey. In 2011 he composed the soundtrack for the French television music-mockumentary series, Zak, broadcast on Orange Movie Series. In 2015, Heineken paired Mani's release "Big Shots" with their holiday campaign, and have run it each year since. That same year, EuropaCorp licensed Mani's "Rabid Animals" for the latest installment of the Transporter series, which grossed $72 million worldwide.

Recently, Mani co-wrote a single for Korean boy pop band TVXQ!, which was featured on their most recent 2018 album Tomorrow which was #1 in Japan and #2 in the world charts.

Mani currently lives between Mallorca, Spain and his hometown, Paris, France.
